Ultimate Couponing I

* Grocery and household items are one of the largest expenses a family has. Ironically, these expenses are also the easiest to cut. While there are many different approaches to cutting your grocery and household items budget, couponing will save you the most. With just a couple of hours per week, you can easily cut 50%-90% off of your weekly spending.

When coupons are used properly, you can expect to easily cut your grocery bill. Even if you've tried couponing before with little success, I encourage you to try the GTS methods. Many have said that time is too tight to waste it to save a few dollars. This class will teach you the easiest and quickest way to save more than a few dollars. Instead of working extra hours or doing without, why not stretch what you already have?

Couponing also allows families on limited incomes to have an excess of products to donate to local charities on a regular basis. Some of the charities and organizations currently being sponsored by GTS members are: Mission Nutrition, local food banks, People Helping People, animal shelters, and senior centers.

In this class we will cover:

  • the different types of coupons available
  • how to find coupons with the highest value
  • where to get coupons for items you actually use
  • how to clip coupons without ever touching scissors
  • basic coupon terminology
  • organization methods
  • individual store's coupon policies
  • using these policies to your advantage
  • combining coupons to maximize savings
  • the science of matching coupons to store sales
  • obtaining items for free or nearly free
  • how to stockpile items to cut back on trips to the store
  • charitable donations
  • how to calculate your savings
  • how to read the fine print on coupons
  • why coupons are issued
  • exactly why some stores love coupons
  • and much more!
